Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer

An established and growing Civil Engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer to join its expanding infrastructure team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants to take ownership of projects, work closely with clients and local authorities, and play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure designs.
You'll be involved in a diverse range of development and infrastructure projects, leading the design and coordination of drainage, highways, external works and earthworks schemes from feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
The Role
- Lead and coordinate infrastructure design projects
- Produce drainage, highways, earthworks and external works designs
- Manage projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction
- Liaise directly with clients, local authorities and key stakeholders
- Prepare technical reports, drawings and design calculations
- Coordinate approvals including S278, S38 and S104 agreements
- Work collaboratively within a fully remote team environment
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in infrastructure design
- Strong knowledge of S278, S38 and S104 approvals
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Causeway PDS and Causeway Flow
- Experience delivering drainage and highway designs for development projects
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a remote team
