We're working with a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Project Structural Engineer to join its growing Bristol office.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative team delivering a diverse range of building and infrastructure projects across the UK. You'll play a key role in the structural design and technical delivery of projects from concept through to construction, working alongside experienced civil, geotechnical and environmental engineers.
The Role
As a Project Structural Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Producing structural designs, calculations and technical drawings for steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures.
- Delivering projects from concept through to detailed design and construction support.
- Coordinating with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Preparing specifications, design reports and technical documentation.
- Attending design reviews, client meetings and site inspections.
- Ensuring designs comply with UK Building Regulations, Eurocodes and industry best practice.
- Contributing to practical, innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Consultancy experience delivering structural engineering projects.
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Eurocodes.
- Experience using structural analysis software such as TEDDS, STAAD, ETABS, Robot or similar.
- AutoCAD, Revit or BIM experience.
- A desire to progress professionally, with Chartership (IStructE or ICE) already achieved or in progress being advantageous.
