The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join their expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of development and transport infrastructure projects, contributing from concept design through to detailed delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design highways and infrastructure schemes, including junctions, access arrangements, and drainage layouts
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD / Civils 3D
- Undertake feasibility studies, site assessments, and design calculations
- Support the preparation of Transport Assessments and technical reports
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and project stakeholders
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards (e.g. DMRB, Manual for Streets, local authority guidance)
- Assist with project delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
About You
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline)
- Experience in highways / infrastructure / development engineering
- Working knowledge of UK design standards and approval processes
- Proficient in AutoCAD; Civils 3D experience desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Working towards professional accreditation (ICE or similar) is desirable
