We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a successful multidisciplinary engineering consultancy working on an impressive portfolio of projects across Ireland.
Projects span residential development, commercial, data centres, industrial, healthcare, education and public-sector schemes.
This position would suit an experienced Civil Engineer looking to take greater ownership of projects while remaining technically involved in design.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
• Delivering civil engineering projects from planning through detailed design and construction
• Roads and development infrastructure design
• Surface and foul water drainage design
• Water services and utilities coordination
• Preparing engineering reports and technical submissions
• Planning and tender documentation
• Managing and developing client relationships
• Liaising with local authorities and statutory bodies
• Leading design and project meetings
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams
• Construction-stage support and site inspections
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
What We're Looking For
• Degree in Civil Engineering – Level 8 or above
• 5+ years' relevant experience
• Irish engineering consultancy experience
• Strong roads, drainage and infrastructure experience
• Experience taking projects from planning through to construction
• Knowledge of Uisce Éireann, TII and DMURS standards
• Strong client-facing and project-management skills
• Full driving licence
• Chartered or working towards Chartership would be advantageous
• Civil 3D, AutoCAD and InfoDrainage experience advantageous
