About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Transport Planner with around 10 years of industry experience to join a forward-thinking transport consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage transport planning projects from inception to completion.

Conduct complex transport assessments, modelling, and feasibility studies.

Develop and deliver transport strategies, policy advice, and reports for a variety of clients.

Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional development.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and local authorities.

Keep up-to-date with transport planning best practices, regulations, and innovations.
Requirements:

Around 10 years of experience in transport planning, with a strong portfolio of projects.

Expertise in transport modelling, traffic assessments, and strategic transport planning.

Excellent knowledge of UK transport policy, planning guidance, and sustainability considerations.

Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Chartered status (CIHT or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
