We’re looking for a talented Structural Engineer to join their growing Bristol team, contributing to innovative, sustainable, and beautifully crafted structures.

You’ll join an experienced group of structural engineers and technicians, working directly with architects, clients and contractors on a variety of projects across the South West and beyond. With support from senior colleagues, you’ll have the freedom to take ownership of your own projects – seeing them through from concept to completion – and play a key role in shaping the future of our Bristol office as it continues to expand.
We’re looking for a Structural Engineer with around four to five years’ experience, confident in working with the four main structural materials and comfortable taking a proactive role in design meetings and project delivery. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, the ability to communicate ideas clearly, and a genuine enthusiasm for well-considered structural design.

What You Need To Succeed
- At least four to five years’ structural design experience within a UK design consultancy.
- Proficiency in designing with steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
- Experience liaising with architects, clients, and contractors in a professional, confident manner.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and deliver designs from concept through to construction.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and creativity.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g. Tekla, Tedds, MasterSeries, or similar).
- Desire to contribute to a supportive and collaborative team culture.
- A passion for structural engineering and an interest in sustainable, elegant design.
- Chartered with IStructE or ICE (preferred but not essential).
- MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
